FOAM BREAK 50-OS defoamer is a polydimethyl siloxane based defoamer solubilized in a kerosene carrier. It is a very effective antifoam in petroleum foaming materials including oil water emulsions and specific aqueous environments, such as hydrogen sulphide scrubber towers, where sufficient condensate or hydrocarbon contamination elevates the efficiency of an oil soluble defoam over its water soluble counterpart. The uniqueness of the FOAM BREAK 50-OS includes little change in physical properties over a wide temperature range along with good heat stability, good oxidation resistance, very low vapour pressures, high flash point, and essentially inert.Oil Soluble.
